Did you talk like a pirate today?

Well you should have you bilge sucking hornswaggle
Today, Sept. 19, is Talk Like A Pirate Day. How awesome is that. The only day a year where you can use words like booty, plunder, hearties and aarrrggghhh! Even FaceBook joins the fun. Did you know that at the bottom of your FaceBook page if you click on the English you can change your page to translate to Pirate? Try it out, it’s fun. And, you can always change it back.

Today’s shot: The beast awakes
Last month I posted a picture of this lion sleeping. You can see the original post here. I waited around through the crowds and insane heat inside the exhibit for this guy to finally open his eyes. After a few minutes, he woke up for a few seconds, enough for a few shots.

  • I don’t know how to express my grtdtauie for your lessons! A simple thank you’ seems to be so inadequate. You are doing a great job. May God bless you with good health and anything you wish! Yours sincerely, Magda

  • Glad you’re back – the other babysitter was mean! No, just kiniddg. I owe all you guys an enormous thank you for the great work you’re doing. This is something more than a blog – it’s like a fun music appreciation course combined with an archive of music that I, at least, didn’t even know existed. Incredible! Thank you all again and again.

  • hey, good to have you back! Almost didn’t notice that you were aenbst, since vdo has been posting so much good stuff anyway. With both of you active, I fear that I will have a hard time keeping up with all the new posts, not that I am complaining though!

  • Hey there, You’ve done a great job. I’ll certainly digg it and personally recommend to my friends.
I am confident they’ll be benefited from this website.
